Position Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Marketing Manager will be instrumental in the success of CarrierHQ by creating and executing integrated campaigns through a variety of channels, including websites, landing pages, email, events, digital advertising, and social media. In addition to a strong e-commerce marketing background, you must be an excellent communicator in all dimensions: able to truly listen and synthesize the most important information to make an outsized impact on the future direction of CarrierHQ.

 Responsibilities/Duties

  • Influence company positioning and branding
  • Influence and execute demand generation primarily via SEO, SEM, social, IMM, content, influencer, email, and viral marketing
  • Influence and execute company’s offline marketing (direct mail, flyers, print publications)
  • Graphic design: email, presentations, social media posts, print, product UI/UX mockups preferred, not required
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s website and landing pages
  • Perform digital and offline marketing analysis
  • Create customer case studies and profiles
  • Write and edit blog posts and manage videos and other content to inspire prospects, customers, and partners
  • Manage press releases and press inquiries

Qualifications/Skills

  • A performance driven attitude and a team-oriented approach
  • Strong problem-solving skills coupled with demonstrated ability to take initiative and critically analyze processes and procedures in a push toward constant improvement
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and extremely thorough while possessing the confidence and communication skills necessary to ensure work processes are completed accurately and effectively
  • Able to maintain a positive attitude and respond to requests in a timely manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven track record in driving digital demand generation
  • Proven experience with demonstrated success building and executing content-driven marketing programs
  • A passion for startups and hyper growth
  • A metrics driven mindset and a focus on continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience supporting executive-level management and driving interdepartmental collaboration
  • Previous experience with freight, logistics, or insurance industry preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish is interesting

Requirements

  • 2-5 years (6-10 preferred) e-commerce marketing experience and proven track record of performance within a rapidly-scaling organization
  • Experience with CRM Marketing platforms (Hubspot CRM (Marketing Hub) preferred, but not required)
  • Understanding of ActiveCampaign and SalesLoft
  • Experience with Google AdWords & Analytics, WordPress, CSS, and Microsoft 365
  • Experience with graphic design platforms (preferred Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator)
