Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the conversion process take?

We’ll take the lead, but from start to finish (as long as you provide all the information we need) you can be up and operating under your own authority in 2-3 weeks!

Am I eligible for the $2,500 startup credit?

If you participate in our Concierge Service, you are eligible for the $2,500 credit. Whatever credit is used will be paid back through factored invoices over a period of 8 weeks.

Do I have to take advantage of the concierge credit?

No! The Concierge credit is optional is not a requirement.

What do I need to do after CarrierHQ has done their part?

Our Team will keep you updated every step of the way! We’ll provide a checklist of remaining tasks and indicate what’s required and what’s recommended to start running under your own authority.

Do you know what insurance coverages I need to be compliant with STG’s requirements?

Yes, we do! When gathering quotes, we’ll include the required auto liability, general liability, trailer interchange, and cargo coverage. However, if there is additional coverage you’d like to include in your policy, just let our team know!

What is factoring?

Factoring is the process of buying and selling receivables.  In this case, STG will need to be invoiced for your daily work in order for that work to be paid on standard payment terms.  With factoring, CarrierHQ would pay you directly for the work you’ve completed and we’ll take care of the direct invoicing and collecting from STG.  Getting you cash faster and streamlining your back office work load.
